Deep Tissue is a way of addressing soft tissue and muscles. The therapist uses a slower rolling massage or friction practices around the muscle fibers. This massage is used for the chronically painful or stiff muscles, overuse syndrome, problems with posture, or the recovery from injuries that can be acute or chronic in nature. Deep Tissue massage is beneficial for people who suffer from car accidents which can include whiplash injuries and sports injuries.


Pregnancy Massage

Pregnancy Massage therapy helps with aches, pains, and impingements, which can be triggered by pregnancy. This type of massage uses a side-lying system to successfully treat the entire body. Different massage techniques can help decrease low back pain, pelvic and hip pain, and can relieve sciatica pain symptoms. This helps decrease stress and anxiety, swelling, and soreness. The massage can be tailored for individual needs throughout the entire pregnancy.


Sports Massage

Sports massage is designed for active people that can range from weekend warriors to high-level athletes. This massage style is very popular for people who have discomfort after activity. The main objective in a sports massage is intended to prevent and treat the injury which can enhance the overall athletic performance. This technique has massage strokes that are a little faster than a Swedish massage. Massage stretching is very common with this massage technique, which can help loosen the muscles and increase the range of motion.


Trigger Point Therapy

Trigger Point massage contains direct pressure to the local area of the pain or restriction. These points are categorized by referral patterns in the body and contribute to the pain level into areas of the body. The treatment includes communication to the massage therapist in regards to the pain level and where it is referring from in the body. Trigger point therapy gets speedy results when done properly, and includes specific stretches from the therapist to increase the range of motion, which decrease the level of pain.


Swedish Massage

Swedish Massage addresses the entire body to help reduce tension in the muscles, stiffness, increase circulation to the body, increase oxygen to the muscles, and flexibility of muscles and joints. During the massage, our therapists use lotion to assist with smooth strokes, less friction, along with stretching and other techniques. This treatment is extremely relaxing for the entire body.
